Mandy’s one-day Hypno-Doula Workshop will provide you with the knowledge you need to assist clients who want to use birth hypnosis. Moms who use hypnosis for their births have unique expectations of their doula, which are not taught in most doula certification programs. This workshop will:

-Teach you skills to work with clients who are using ALL types of hypnosis programs.

-Explain and provide an opportunity to practice how to use scripts, prompts, and cues to help your clients relax during birth

-Explain the ins and outs of hypnosis- even if you are totally new to hypnosis you will leave this training well prepared and ready to work with hypno-moms!

-Introduce you to the Hypnobabies program, which is growing by leaps and bounds in L.A. and greater southern CA

-Teach you how to help your clients deflect negativity about childbirth

-Enable you to better communicate to your clients in a positive manner instead of using vocabulary that may hold connotations of fear, pain, and anxiety

-Provide an opportunity for you to personally experience hypnosis (and how easy it is!)

-Show videos of women using hypnosis during their birthing times

You will leave the workshop with the following materials:

-Marketing materials for attracting clients who are interested in  hypnosis

-A Hypno-Doula Workbook which includes scripts, prompts, cues, and more for you to use during births as well as other great information about birth hypnosis

-Hypno-Doula Study Guide which, upon completion and submission, allows you to become a certified Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula AND be listed on the Hypnobabies website listing. This is a GREAT way to bring in more clientele!
